Since its opening, Creative Movement Center has provided a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all people interested in dance. This includes a dedication and commitment to dancers with special needs. Since the beginning, CMC has not only offered adaptive dance classes, but has also provided an inclusive and supportive environment for dancers with special needs in all dance classes offered at the studio.
CMC works directly with families who use funding provided through the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities Family Supports Program for dancers with special needs. The information below is designed to help our families understand and navigate Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ Family Supports Program.
Important Information
Please know that the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities/NEON has a new funding process. Families must now submit a Recreation Request Form (link below) first, before any vendor invoices will be paid. A separate Request Form must be completed for each activity.
