Miss melanie

Melanie has been dancing since she was 2 years old! She started dancing competitively at age 7, where she really started to fall in love with dancing.  In competitions, she received various titles, overall placements, and convention scholarships. Her senior year of dance, Melanie choreographed a contemporary routine for Intrigue dance convention and competition for the “student choreography” category, where she won the choreography award!

In college, Melanie initially was going to take a break from dance, but missed it so much that she took various fine arts classes throughout college; including modern, jazz funk, and ballet. It was during her time in college when Melanie realized that dancing is such an important outlet for her, and she wants others to feel this way about dancing too.

Melanie is an occupational therapy assistant by day, helping kiddos of all needs be able to participate in their daily activities. With this knowledge, Melanie feels excited and equipped to provide a positive environment in the dance classroom where everyone can learn and have fun!

Melanie is super pumped to be apart of the CMC family and share her love of dance with everyone!
