Miss Rachel

Rachel Cymbal was born and raised in Ohio. She started dancing at 5 years old, but really fell in love with the art at the age of 13. She found Creative Movement Center at the age of 14 and never looked back. At CMC Rachel focused her training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern and jazz. With CMC’s pre-professional company, Rachel has performed at several Lake Erie Monster Games and All Ohio Dance Festivals.
She has also participated as a choreographer/performer in Cuyahoga Community Dance Concerts as well as understudied with the Movement Project, a local professional modern dance company.

Rachel started assisting Hayley during her second year at CMC and discovered her passion for teaching. During her junior and senior yeasr of high school, Rachel completed two years of college. She looks forward to finishing the last of her Associates Degree this spring.

This past summer Rachel participated in the Cleveland State Summer Dance Workshop and had the privilege to take class from nationally known choreographers such as Johannes Wieland, Amy Miller, and Helanieus Wilkins. Rachel also traveled with CMC to New York City this past summer to take class at Broadway Dance Center from some of the best teachers in New York City. Now as Assistant Office Manager and an Instructor at Creative Movement Center Rachel is excited to have found a career that allows her to give, share and express the art that she loves.
